Prahlad Friedman is an American poker player who has built his reputation both online and live. His success in live poker is considerable for a player who plays predominantly online.

Friedman won a World Series of Poker bracelet in 2003 in a $1,500 pot-limit hold’em event, earning himself $109,400. His largest cash to date came when he finished 20th ($494,797) at the 2006 WSOP main event, no small feat considering the 8,773 entrants. His total live poker winnings total almost $1.2 million.

Friedman is known online by many names, the most recognizable of which is “Spirit Rock.” His play style is often described as aggressive and daring. He is also active in the online poker community and has become noteworthy for the memorable raps that he posts on poker forums (which ESPN put him on the spot to ad lib during the 2006 WSOP).
